Earlier this week, condolences poured-in for Wendy Williams, as speculations rose about the demise of her mother, Shirley Williams.
While the reports, weren’t entirely inaccurate – her mother’s passing did not take place recently, according to the 56 year old.
The talk show host addressed the tabloid-talk on her show, stating that her mother did pass away, but it was ‘many, many, many, many weeks ago’.
Here’s what she stated:
“My mom passed away many, many, many, many weeks ago. You know how you lose track of the day and time? All I know was it was a long time ago. The five of us, my mom, dad, my siblings, the five of us —she will always be here.”
Interestingly, Wendy’s brother Tommy Williams, went live on YouTube a few days ago and stated that their mother’s passing took place just last Sunday.
“It’s quiet for a while. My mom passed last Sunday. I’ve been doing my videos…” – he said in his video.
Either way, condolences to Wendy and her family.
