Larry King Has Died at Age 87, Was Admitted Due To Covid-19 Related Complications

Weeks after Larry King was reported to have contracted Covid-19, the iconic TV presenter and interviewer has passed away.

Leaving behind a legacy of 60 years and over 30,000 interviews, King passed away at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, California, as confirmed by his media company – Ora Media.



He was 87.

Larry King, who’s had a years-long association with CNN, as a legendary celebrity interviewer for the network, was taken to the ICU after complications related to Covid-19, which he contracted around the time of the Holidays.



Although, he was later moved to the general ward and his health status had reportedly got better, he succumbed in the hospital this past Saturday.

Larry King started his career back in the 1950’s and over the years become one of the most renowned faces in Television and media. He wrote a regular column on USA Today for almost 20 years and was also just as iconic as a Radio Host, with his nationally broadcasted program – Larry King Show, which ran from the mid-70’s till 2009.

King married a total of 7 times and divorced from his most recent wife, Shawn King, in 2019 – after a marriage of 22 years.

He is survived by three sons, Cannon, Chance and Larry King Jr..
