Mary Wilson’s death has been mourned by her peers and other legendary performers of her time.
The co-founder of one of the most successful girl groups of all time – The Supremes, passed away earlier this week at the age of 76.
Diana Ross, who was the “prime face” and the lead star of the iconic group, was also stunned by Wilson’s passing, which she apparently got to know about, only later that fateful day.
The 76 year old iconic songstress took to her social media handle to mourn the loss of her long-time partner in music:
I just woke up to this news , my condolences to you Mary's family ,I am reminded that each day is a gift ,I have so many wonderful memories of our time together "The Supremes " will live on ,in our hearts 💕
