Sent Home For Wearing Shorts On a Hot Day, Schoolboy Returns Wearing a Skirt To School

In the most epic comeback over so-called ‘dress-code violations’, a Scottish school boy had the last word against his school faculty.

The teenager had apparently attended the school wearing shorts, due to the hot weather of summers, which was not permitted by the school and he was sent back home over the same.

As a protest, and to drive some common-sense into the school management (if the soaring temperature in the United Kingdom earlier this week wasn’t enough), the boy – Shane Richardson, protested by coming to school wearing a skirt, instead.

Shane was one of the 13 boys who were sent back home at Moffat’s Academy in Moffat, Dumfries and Galloway, as the staff told them that the only two things allowed per the school’s dress code were – trousers or a skirt.

And there you have it. Shane showed up the next day, wearing his sister’s skirt to school – and instantly became a celebrity.

The matter has now gone on to the school management, who have decided to consider changes to their school dress-code policies after all – after taking feedback from “young pupils”, teachers and parents.

It started on a funny note, but Shane’s small protest caused the entire school to bring about a change.

Now, that’s what we’re talking about!
