After a long wait and much anticipation, the first teaser of the live-action remake of Disney’s The Little Mermaid is here.
Starring singer Halle Bailey in the iconic role of princess Ariel – the mischievous mermaid from the underwater kingdom named Atlantica, the breathtaking new teaser gives us a glimpse into the visually stunning escapade that awaits her.
What’s more?
Halle, is also seen giving the best of her vocals, with a spirited rendition of the original film’s classic, ‘Part Of Your World’.
The stunning background score and surreal underwater CGI imagery promises a visual treat like no other live-action remake from Disney, till now.

Inducing a deep sense of nostalgia, within a few seconds, the teaser marks the advent of a new chapter in Disney with a string of new releases -lined-up. But this Rob Marshall-directorial might be one of the most anticipated projects to arrive in the next couple of months.
Disney’s The Little Mermaid is schedule to arrive at theaters on May 26, 2023, and will be leading the pack of some other live-action remakes the company has in it’s kitty.
