Watch: Adele Sings Whitney Houston’s ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’ With A Fan At Recent Concert

Adele’s quirky interactions with her fans are also the highlight of her concerts, along with of coarse – her fantastic and soulful voice.

Thus was the case during the British songstress’ recent showing during her ‘Weekends With Adele’ concert residency held at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

While a candid chat with a lucky fan, venturing into the audience, Adele jammed to the late Whitney Houston’s classic dance-anthem ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’, singing the whole chorus – as the crowd chimed-into it as well.

The fan-request became a ‘happy moment’ of the show, shared as a highlight by many fans on social media who apparently went into a frenzy seeing Adele take-on the Pop/Soul diva, even if it was just a few lines.

Involuntarily makes you wanna clap along!

The 34-show residency which began on November last year, comes to an end on March 25, 2023. Unless if Adele decides to add new dates to it, as she recently did.

Meanwhile, Whitney Houston’s biopic ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’ – named after the classic anthem, is presently playing in cinemas – so this cute little fan-moment also ended-up serving as a tribute to the late diva.

The biopic directed by Kasi Lemmons stars British actress Naomi Ackie in the role of Houston, as it chronicles her rise to prominence under the guidance of her Gospel great mother Cissy Houston, played by Tamara Tunie – all the way to her tragic end in 2012.

The film was released around Christmas and opened at #2 at the UK box office behind James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way Of Water.

As for Adele – the fan moment was great, but we’re now greedy to hear a full-fledged performance of a Houston-classic on stage. Perhaps a surprise performance on the show next?
