Taylor Swift Touches Whitney Houston’s Record Of Charting Most Albums Simultaneously – Again!

Taylor Swift boasts of perhaps the most powerful fan-following amongst all music stars of today.

The singer and songwriter has never really failed to deliver a hit, largely thanks to her devoted fan-base, that always flocks to buy whatever she releases – even if it is a re-release of an older album.

The singer, who recently unveiled a revamped version of her previous hit LP – ‘Fearless’, has broken several music records yet again – just as she has been doing with every other release of her’s.

The hype around her latest release pushed 7 of her other past albums into the Top 200 of Billboard’s albums charts, making her the second only artist in history – aside from the late and great Whitney Houston to achieve that feat.

Houston’s 8 previously-released albums had all found a placement inside Billboard Top 200 simultaneously, after the diva’s untimely passing in 2012 had given a mega-boost in the sale of her already best-selling catalog.

Interestingly, for Taylor – this isn’t the first time she has achieved this feat, as the singer saw 8 of her albums hop-in inside the Top 200, just 3 months ago on – Feb. 27, 2021. This basically makes her the only artist to have done it – twice!

But this isn’t the first Whitney Houston record that Taylor has broken.

Previously, she surpassed Houston for most cumulative weeks spent at #1 on the Billboard 200 charts, among females.

Apart from that, Taylor also broke Whitney’s record of the most-awarded female artist in American Music Awards’ history, when she surpassed the late legend’s total tally of – 22.
