Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody [Music Video]

By the time Queen prepared what was to become one of their most memorable hits of all time, they had already churned-out three hit studio albums.

The British rock group’s magnum opus – “Bohemian Rhapsody featured on their fourth studio album A Night at the Opera – which was released in the year 1975.



It was one of the rare Rock recordings of that time to achieve mainstream global success.

Mixing elements of an operatic passage, progressive Rock, “Bohemian Rhapsody” was referred to as the band’s legendary frontman Freddie Mercury himself, as ‘mock opera’ – which was said to be a combination of 3 songs written by him.

With Mercury serving as the sole songwriter of the cult classic, the production of the song was brought to life by – Roy Thomas Baker and other Queen bandmates.

The song has often featured in several popular lists compiling the ‘greatest songs of all time’, including one put together by Rolling Stone.



The song has also been immortally preserved in the Library of Congress and the Grammy Hall Of Fame and ranks as the 3rd highest selling song in the UK of all time.
